Our Intention

We created Lacuna Medicinals to be a source for unique, quality grown and curated fungal medicines— a place for us to share with you what the plants and fungi have generously shared with us. As we delve deeper into working with mushrooms, it only becomes more apparent that the world of fungi is too often misconceptualized.

Through the lens of traditional alchemy, we have been working to create the highest quality, most bio-available medicine for you all. When harnessing the natural rhythms of the cosmos, we believe that a potent synergy is created between you and the medicine you consume.

The commitment to bridging ancient practices while advancing the field of modern medicine is our Kuleana, or divine responsibility. A way to honor the land and connect people back to the harmonics of nature. Our intention is not only to enrich lives, but to remind us of the power that we each hold within.

We grow all of the mushrooms on Kumeyaay land, fully present for each stage of the process. Every harvest is prayed over. All of our products are made using 100% natural & organic ingredients.
